|…for God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17.|
All through Scriptures we see God’s unconditional love for humanity. He demonstrated His love towards us by sending His Son to bring salvation to as many that will believe in His name. Condemnation is not of God. Jesus did not come to condemn you but to reconcile you to God. 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” Some people believe that the crisis or problems they are going through is God’s punishment to them for their past sins or mistakes. That’s not true! God does not afflict people with pain or sufferings. It is the devil that specializes in tormenting people. He condemns and devours through fiery darts of guilt, and lies. Don’t give him your attention, The Bible says Satan goes about like a roaring lion looking for who to devour. Don’t be deceived by the lies of the devil, resist him in faith. Rebuke him over your life, family, health, business, career, etc.
In Christ, you have been made Righteous. Christ was made sin in your stead and God declared you righteous by your faith in Jesus. If you are feeling condemned in your heart, realize it is not God but the devil. All round salvation is what Christ obtained for you by His death and resurrection. Falling into sin does not make you a sinner. You are still Righteous before God, it’s not about your works, and it’s about your nature of righteousness. If you have sinned, receive forgiveness and continue in your walk of faith. You have an advocate with the Father; Jesus Himself prays and pleads for you. He knows you are growing up and becoming more like Him in all you do.
So don’t permit any sense of guilt to linger, making you feel like God has rejected you. Focus on growing up into Christ. You are dead to sin, that’s your reality in Christ. Keep declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. The Words that you speak will gradually dominate your being and condition your mind to respond accordingly. Refuse to allow the Enemy take advantage of your mistakes. You are loved and accepted by God. Stay on course and keep living a life of victory and grace.
PRAYER: Thank You heavenly Father for abundance of Grace and the gift of righteousness in Christ. I’m Righteous and I continually live a life of glory and grace in Jesus’ name, amen.
