No temptation, regardless of its source, has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience, nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance, but God is faithful to His word, He is compassionate and trustworthy, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability to resist, but along with the temptation He has in the past, and is now, and will always provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it, without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy. 1 Corinthians 10: 13 AMP.

Trials come to test your faith in God’s Word. Tough times are like indicators that clearly mark out your level of Confidence and trust in God. Troubles of life are not strange experiences; they are common to all men but come at different times and forms. What you are going through right now may be distressing, painful and seems hopeless. Cheer up; you are an overcome, even before the onset of that problem. Today’s opening verse assures you that God will provide a way out of that situation. So count it all joy. Refuse to be afraid or anxious. Stop feeling depressed and say no to frustrations. Instead, take advantage of turbulent times to exercise your faith in God. Be patient and thankful, knowing that all things are working together for your good, Romans 8:28. Seize the opportunity to build strength of Character. Don’t waste your time and energy complaining. It’s not a time for pity-parties, feeling sorry for yourself or even seeking for the sympathy of those who are too busy to notice what you are going through.
James 1:2-4 (MSG), says, consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. Trials are for your benefits. You are to profit from even the toughest of situations. They come to teach you endurance, preparing you for better days ahead! God wants you to be mature, full of faith, patience, and spiritual stamina.
Troubles come to help you attain to that level of maturity if only your perception of trials is influenced by the truth of God’s Word. 2 Corinthians 2: 14 says, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.” That tells you that In Christ Jesus you win all the time! It doesn’t matter what is up against you, rest assured you are more than a Conqueror! Just allow the situation to perfect its work of patience and maturity in you while you take to prayers, thanksgiving and confessing God’s Word!

PRAYER: Thank you dear Lord for your Word, I declare that I am more than a conqueror. My faith is being strengthened; I win over trials and temptations in Jesus’ name.
