MEDITATE ON THE WORD OF GOD

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful. Joshua 1:8 AMP

The Word of God has been given to you by God for your benefits. For you to appropriate the blessings of the Word in your live, you must constantly meditate on it. Meditating on God’s Word, inspires you to do what it says and unleashes its Power which is capable of effecting change in any and every situation.  Instead of concentrating on the challenges you are currently faced with, divert your attention to the Word. Keep your mind on the Word, reflect on it, think seriously about what it says, it’s a matter of time, the Word will produce the fruits of its message in your life. Notice that our Today’s text also teaches us to keep the Word in our mouths. That means, speaking God’s Word out loud is part of meditation. Practice talking the Word. Don’t talk fear, failure, or defeat, no matter how tough your circumstance may be. Train yourself to consistently say only what the Word says. Hebrews 6:5 tells us that the Word of God is good. If you continue reading the Word, meditating on the Word, and speaking the Word, the goodness of the Word will become your daily experience. You will make your ways prosperous and enjoy good success if you cultivate the habit of mediating regularly on the Word.

PRAYER: Thank You Father for the gift of Your Word to me, as I meditate on it, my life is completely transformed. I prosper by the Word and enjoy good success in Jesus name.
