And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Romans 8:17. KJV

That comes to your mind when you read or hear this statement from the Bible, ‘I am fearfully and wonderfully made?’ Do you consider it a cliché or an absolute truth? The Bible is undoubtedly a great Book of truth and that includes all that is written about you! Today’s theme scripture reminds you of who you are in Christ. You are an heir of the Most High God, a JOINT- HEIR with Christ. It’s your spiritual birthright to share in the eternal inheritance of Christ. All the Blessings of God are yours in Christ. As you expose yourself to the Word, you will realize by revelation that there is nothing ordinary about you. You are very special and abundantly blessed of God.
Jesus speaks of Himself in John 9:5, “As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.” Then He says in Matthew 5:14, “You are the Light of the world.” Glory to God! This is why you cannot be subdued by darkness or negative spiritual forces. By inheritance, the nature of God is operational in you. This truth alone can set you free from any fear of darkness or demonic activities, knowing that Light is Superior to darkness.
1 John 5:11 says, “And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”  As joint-heir with Christ, you are a possessor of life, you can’t die accidentally. You will live for as long as you desire. It’s up to you to habitually confess that God has satisfied you with abundant life. A lot of people are still subject to the fear of untimely death, especially as the ‘mber’ months approach. Don’t join them in talking fear. Some say ‘anything can happen at any time.’ No! Your case is different as a child of God.

Do you know that Jesus is worthy to receive glory, honor, power, wisdom, strength, riches and blessings? The good news is that you share in all those with him. You inherited glory in Christ, you cannot be disgraced. Oh yes, riches and honor are part of you inheritance, that’s why you must confidently reject poverty. Expect people to honor and celebrate you for that’s your lot in Christ. Strength and wisdom are also in the package. You can’t be weak or sick. Glory to God! Christ is your wisdom, guiding all your affairs. You can’t be confused. You are full of divine ideas. If you live everyday with this consciousness of being God’s heir and joint-heir with Christ, your life will never remain the same again!

PRAYER: In the name of Jesus, I’m joint-heir with Christ. All the blessings of God in Christ are mine.
