Divine Restoration

So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.Job 42:12 KJV

Have you suffered any form of loss that left your heart broken and you wondered if you will ever recover from it? A business that sank your investment? A relationship that left you shattered? Is your health still failing, having done all? Perhaps you lost a loved one so dear to your heart? Be encouraged my friend! Don’t lose faith.

God is able to restore everything you lost. He will heal your heart and memories of the grief and pain you feel!

Naomi had her share of losses in life. In a space of ten years she lost her husband and two sons to the cold hands of death. How bad could it get? What terrible losses she had to bear in a strange land. She taught it was divine punishment, “… for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me. I went out full, and the Lord hath brought me home again empty.. Ruth 1:20‭-‬21.

But no, God doesn’t punish His children with evil. It is the Enemy that comes to steal, to kill and to destroy. God is in the business of restoring what has been lost. Here are three things you must strengthen as you anticipate divine restoration:

  • Hope: The feeling of hopelessness drains your strength. Your hope must be in place for faith to act on it. FAITH is the SUBSTANCE of things HOPED for, there has to be an expectation (hope) that faith will turn into a reality. So never ever lose hope. Your faith needs your hope to be effective.
Romans 15:13 says, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
  • Peace: Your mind and heart need to maintain a deep seated rest. Peace is a proof of faith. It is difficult to ascertain the way out of a turbulent situation if you are anxious, restless or agitated. Anxiety can adversely affect your health. You need to stay healthy to enjoy the restoration that God is bringing into your life. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
  • Faith: Build your faith strong! Faith gets what it says. Remember the woman with the issue of blood, she had lost her health for 12year. Regardless of her predicament, she spoke faith filled words. Mathew 9:20-21 says, “And behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For SHE SAID within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.” Her health was restored because of her faith.
  • Naomi later enjoyed divine restoration. God made a kinsman available for her. Even the women in her home town acknowledged the help of God in Naomi’s life: “And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the Lord, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him. ” Ruth 4:14‭-‬15. The God that restored Naomi will restore all that you have lost In Jesus name.
PRAYER: In the name of Jesus, I declare that God is restoring everything I have lost in the past, seven fold and more in Jesus’ name, Amen.
