|For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 1Timothy 2:5-6.|
When was the last time you witnessed for Christ? Are you a proud ambassador of the Gospel of Christ or are you among those believers who are ashamed to speak in the open about the message of salvation? Consider these verses in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 which say, “Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.” God has assigned to you a unique ministry that is very dear to His heart. It’s about telling Sinners that Christ has already paid for their sins. They no longer need to be held in bondage of sin. God wants you to let them know that Salvation is available by faith in the finished work of Jesus.
Proverbs 11:30 says that the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise. This verse explicitly describes a soul winner as wise, which means soul winning is an act of wisdom. Remember that Christ is your wisdom. You are filled with God’s wisdom. Operate that wisdom in soul winning today and always. Become an ardent soul winner. God greatly rewards soul winning, because it’s a way to store up treasures for yourself in heaven.
John 3:16-17 is a very familiar Scripture that reminds you of both the love and gift of God to the world. It reads, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.” Jesus was made a Ransom for the world; don’t let the price He paid become a waste in the lives of others. Spread the good new with a sense of urgency before it’s too late. Life eternal is God’s precious Gift to all who receive Jesus.
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18). The lake of fire was prepared for Satan and his cohorts. It is not in God’s agenda for any of His creatures to end up in hell. Only those who reject the gospel of Jesus Christ will eventually be condemned to eternal damnation. Help the unbelievers reconcile to God by telling them about Jesus. They only need to confess with their mouths that Jesus died for their sins and believe in their hearts that God raised Him up from the dead. That’s all that is required. Give the Holy Spirit an opportunity to convict a sinner of sin through the message of salvation you preached.
PRAYER: In the name of Jesus I declare I’m an ardent soul winner. I have been empowered to witness about Jesus. I delight in winning souls and God is glorified in me always.
